Body Smoothers

After your skin feels soft and relaxed from taking a series of baths, you should now begin exfoliating your skin. The main objective of exfoliating is to help remove the oldest dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. Exfoliating on a regular basis will help to remove dead skin cells while leaving your skin ready to absorb moisture. Increased moisture helps to reduce fine lines, and the result will be fresh and healthy looking skin. Over exfoliating can cause dryness and irritate your skin so only exfoliate about two to three times a week until your skin is comfortable with the procedure.

There are two beneficial products just perfect for gentle exfoliation: Purifying & Detoxing Bath & Salt Rub and the Exfoliating Body Smoother. You can use the Ayate Exfoliating Buffing Cloth (or on a wash cloth), daily, to gently help remove and condition dry, flaky skin, combined with one of the Smoothers, Gelees or Shea Enriched Soaps.

Purifying and Detoxing Bath & Salt Rub

Exfoliating Body Smoother

The perfect way to have absolutely radiant, soft and smooth skin. A gentle foaming, non-abrasive body exfoliant that contains the softening properties of chamomile, calendula, lemon balm and lavender. Jojoba beads in the blend help to gently buff away dead skin cells leaving only soft, glowing, youthful skin which feels fresh, smooth and clean. Apply to your body using a wash cloth, or for extra exfoliation, the Ayate Buffing Cloth, in a circular motion for a polished glow. Rinse off with warm water and follow with your favorite Vinci & Rakos Body & Massage Lotion, Oil or Cream. Your body will feel and look refreshed and satiny smooth.

Helpful Hint:   Use the Exfoliating Body Smoother instead of the Purifying & Detoxing Bath & Salt Rub if your skin is very dry or you have not been exfoliating on a regular basis.  The Body Smoother is creamier and not as intense as the salts.  Once your skin is in better shape, and you are more comfortable exfoliating and buffing, you can alternate with the salt formula.
